To keep our wines in perfect condition, we recommend you finish the wine within a week of opening, and, as these are young wines with low alcoholic content, store your Alpaca in a cool place. Finally, so as not to lose its fresh and delicious qualities, remember to enjoy the wine within 2 – 3 years of the harvest year.
Our wines do contain sulfites, as they help avoid oxidization as well as maintaining our delicious flavor the same over time. But don’t worry: The amount is very small, keeping in accordance with international norms, and is not harmful to our health. You can find this information on the back label of your Alpaca.
If you’re vegetarian, we can guarantee you’ll like our wines. Vegans can reach for our Pinot Noir, Rosé, Chardonnay and/or Sauvignon Blanc, which don’t contain any traces of albumin, egg or gelatin—100% made for you.
Our wines are made using Saccharomyces Cerevisiae yeast, which is the same one used in the production of beer and bread.

Alpaca Organic is a wine made from certified, organically grown grapes. This means that no synthetic chemicals were used in the growing, or winemaking process.
“For thousands of years they have been our faithful companions, part of every Andes community, and like a member of the family. As they are such delightful animals, always by our side, the Alpaca has become part of Chilean heritage.
They are known as the world’s friendliest animals and feel most at home at the foothills of the snowcapped Andes, which is exactly where we make our wine. Just as our ancestors could count on these friendly souls for company, with their ability to help out on the farm, and soft, downy fur. Thus, Alpacas became our charming mascot, always by our side as we tend to our vines in the fresh mountain air to create rich, quality wines.
That’s why, when we named our wine, we thought of these companions who have been with us throughout history. We called our wine Alpaca, a symbol of the Chilean Andes.”
